Completed in early 2007, this 140,000 square feet structure is covered with a Johns Manville 4GIG built-up roof.
This is one of the two Grand Strand YMCAs roofed by Spann Roofing. The building has 8,800 sq ft of spanish tile, 18,600 sq ft of standing seam metal, & 16,000 sq ft of Johns Manville built-up roof. The YMCA has a great view from the Grissom Parkway.
A Johns Manville built-up roof was installed on a 25,000 sq ft reroof with a 9,000 sq ft addition. The 22,000 sq ft mansard wood shingle roof was replaced with MonierLifetile.
The project consisted of 132,500 sq ft of reroofing & new additions. A Johns Manville 20 year four-ply built-up roof was installed over metal & concrete decking.
